Road Trip to Bangor Maine

This bridge is alot higher that it looks from here - when the weather is good, one of the towers has an elevator that goes to the top of the tower.
We really wanted to go inside to look for souvenirs but it was closed for winter.

Food was really good!

Some of the sites on our way to Bangor Maine for the Stake Youth Conference. We left Thursday morning, February 18th, stayed in Portland Maine and ate at Gilbert's Chowder House that evening. In Portland we saw Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's house - but it was closed. Friday we went on to Bangor Maine. We passed Pleasantville - where Reader's Digest headquarters are - passed Reader's Digest Road. Saturday was our part of the Youth Conference and Sunday we headed home stopping in Augusta Maine for Church, and arrived back in New York City that evening.
